SUNNYLEA

Project Sunnylea is a study in modern minimalism and contrast, designed to evoke the atmosphere of a contemporary art gallery while remaining warm and livable. The client sought a home that felt curated rather than decorated—where every architectural move was intentional and every surface allowed room to breathe.
A disciplined black-and-white palette anchors the design, creating a timeless foundation that emphasizes form, proportion, and light. Crisp white planes reflect daylight and expand the sense of space, while black accents—used strategically in millwork, framing, and architectural details—introduce structure, rhythm, and visual weight. This interplay of contrast heightens the home’s sculptural quality without overwhelming it.
Spatial planning prioritizes clarity and sightlines, allowing each room to unfold with quiet confidence. Finishes are refined and understated, chosen for their ability to support the overall composition rather than compete for attention. Like a gallery, the home invites pause and observation, offering moments of calm, focus, and appreciation.
The result is a modern residence that feels elevated yet effortless—a home where architecture acts as art, and daily life becomes part of the exhibition.
